This is a nice 9 hole loop with some interesting, but challenging holes. Short for the long hitters, but nice for seniors. Small greens require more precise shots. Fun course to play!

Since my review of last year in June, the owners have made huge improvements, e.g., working on the greens and fairways, added new sand to the bunkers and plan to add a few more, added laser target flag sticks and added a lot of landscaping around the course to improve the aesthetics too. The only drawback, so to speak, is that it's a 9 hole loop, but it does have several staggered tee boxes for an 18 hole round. There are three water carry holes and a few with rather distinct topographical challenges. The upgrades to the course are a huge improvement from last year and the course is now a hidden gem in the East Central Illinois cornfields, especially for us seniors for whom 9 holes works out perfect at times.
